A Tobacco-Free
Mission
The Buffalo County Tobacco Free Coalition is a volunteer organization dedicated to the reduction of commercial tobacco/e-cigarette use and its effects on the citizens of Buffalo County and south-central Nebraska. We work to maintain smoke-free/vape-free standards while raising awareness with our youth and adults about the dangers of using commercial tobacco and e-cigarette products.

3. Promoting Tobacco Cessation
Enhance the awareness of the dangers of tobacco use, promote cessation, and shift social norms to prevent tobacco use with Health Care Providers and Community through educational opportunities.
4. Coalition and Community Development
Promote the coalition and its mission to increase coalition membership and expand overall capacity.
Did you know that the multiple components of vaping devices are hurting our environment?
Vapes contain lithium batteries along with plastics, heavy metals, and cancer-causing chemicals. When improperly thrown into trash bins or littered on the ground, trace amounts of these materials can leak into our soil and water sources, contaminating the food we eat and the water we drink.
